Terms of use

SIA Alis CO, registration number 40103131137, Vējstūru iela 38, Rīga, LV-1063 (hereinafter – the online store) provides the content available on the website and supplies goods/services in accordance with the Terms of Use set out below.

1. General Provisions

If the consumer purchases goods/services through the website, such a mutual agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia governing distance contracts, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Protection Law and the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations on Distance Contracts, among others.

2. Making Purchases

The prices and specifications of products sold in the online store are indicated next to the respective products.
To place an order, add the desired products to the shopping cart. Fill in all required fields and select the most suitable delivery method. The total cost of the order, including delivery, will then be displayed on the screen. Complete the payment to finalize the order.

3. Payment Terms

The currency used on the website is Euro (EUR). Purchases can be paid for using the following payment methods provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv, operated by Maksekeskus AS:

  • Online banking payments in Latvia: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, and Luminor
  • Online banking payments in Estonia: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor
  • Online banking payments in Lithuania: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor
  • Visa/Mastercard card payments

NB! When using the internet banking payment method, please confirm your order and click “Return to merchant”.

Personal data required for making payments are transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.
The contract comes into effect upon successful payment to the online store’s bank account.
If, for any reason, the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will be informed, and the amount paid will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification.

4. Delivery Terms

Goods are delivered to the following countries: Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania. Purchased goods are delivered via parcel terminal partners or courier service.
All fees and taxes required to receive the shipment at the delivery destination must be covered by the Buyer.
Delivery costs are displayed before confirming the order.
Purchased goods are delivered to the Buyer’s specified address within 5 working days.
In exceptional cases, we reserve the right to deliver goods within 45 calendar days, informing the customer accordingly.

5. Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal cannot be applied to the following categories of goods:

  • Goods that perish quickly or have a short expiry date
  • Goods whose packaging has been opened and which, for health or hygiene reasons, cannot be returned

The online store reserves the right to refuse to sell goods and request the return of goods from the Buyer if the price indicated in the online store is significantly lower than the market price due to an error.

6. Consumer Rights Regarding Non-Conforming Goods

If a food product is damaged, of poor quality, or does not match the order, please send a request with a photo of the defective/non-conforming product and a brief description of the issue to info@alis-co.lv.
If such a claim is submitted within 72 hours after receiving the product and is justified, the Buyer will be refunded.

In the above-mentioned cases, the money for returned, defective, or non-conforming products will be transferred to the Buyer’s bank account from which the order was paid within 7 (seven) working days.
In case of product return or exchange, the delivery fee is not refunded or reimbursed.

7. Processing of Buyer’s Personal Data

The online store processes only the personal data entered by the Buyer when placing an order, such as name, surname, email, etc.
The online store transfers personal data to the transport service provider(s) to ensure delivery of the goods.

If you have explicitly agreed to receive our marketing communications, including news and updates, we may occasionally contact you with information about our services and latest offers.
For this purpose, we may process your email address provided when subscribing to marketing communications.
The Buyer has the right to unsubscribe from marketing messages by notifying us via info@alis-co.lv.

8. Dispute Resolution Procedure

For matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions, the Buyer and the Seller undertake to comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia.
The parties shall resolve all disputes arising between the Seller and the Buyer through mutual negotiation or correspondence.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation or correspondence, the parties shall settle the dispute in the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with Latvian legislation.
Disputes between the Buyer (consumer) and the Seller may also be submitted to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
